Oak Class Forest School

This week Oak class spent Thursday morning in Forest school exploring the site. The children had a wonderful time bug hunting, crafting, playing on the swings, den building and making things out of bamboo! Some of us even had a go at fire striking with flint and steel!

School Nurse Visit

Image
Today, the school nurses came in to talk to us about how to take care of our teeth! They explained how baby teeth are different from adult teeth and why it's super important to brush them properly. One of the top tips was to brush  twice a day for two minutes.  We also learned about the best food and drinks to help keep our teeth healthy. It was a fun session, and now we all know how to keep our teeth shiny and strong!

VE Day

This week we joined in with the VE Day celebration. We made decorations, threaded some bracelets with red, white and blue beads and enjoyed eating a scone outside while listening to music from 1945.
