This week we decided to make rocky road for our class trip to the beach. Miss Merrifield helped the children bash up the biscuits which was a lot of fun and add all the other yummy ingredients. This will be a well needed treat to help us get back up Woodvale road! 

 This week we decided to make delicious flapjacks for our snack for beach school. We looked at the recipe together, weighed out oats, sugar, butter and golden syrup. Theo did a fantastic job of measuring and cutting the greaseproof paper to fit the trays. We had to do a lot of stirring the mix up the sticky mixture. They smelled incredible while they were cooking in our classroom!  

 Today we made some delicious biscuits to take to the beach tomorrow. It was so hard not to eat them as they smelt yummy when they were cooking. We learnt how to cream the sugar and butter together, and after rolling them into little balls used a fork to press them down. A super tasty homemade treat for tomorrow.
