Cherry Tree PE
Last week in PE we practised dribbling a ball with our feet. While doing this, we had to think about how we move around safely showing an awareness of others.
Cherry Tree Class beach School
Cherry Tree class had a wonderful second session at Beach School, where the children enjoyed a scenic walk to the beach, hunting for signs of spring along the way. They spotted budding trees and spring flowers while learning about the changing seasons. After recapping the beach rules, the children enjoyed exploring the beach and playing together. To finish the session, they ate flapjacks, which they’d made earlier this week, alongside cups of hot chocolate, the perfect treat to end a fun-filled morning of outdoor learning and adventure.
Spring Walk
This afternoon we went on a spring walk around the school field. We were looking for any signs of spring and we talked about how things have changed in our environment since the autumn term. We also stopped for a biscuit half way round while we watched the birds collects sticks for their nests.
