Phonics week 3
We have been working super hard on trying to learn our tricky words and reading words with digraphs in. The children have been playing games and have been writing tricky words in our Drawing club sessions.
Festival Celebrations
This week, EYFS brought the fun and excitement of the Isle of Wight Festival to our setting with our very own mini festival! The children had a fantastic time designing their own T-shirts and colourful wristbands, which they wore proudly throughout the day. We made musical instruments using recycled materials and had the chance to perform on our stage — complete with singing, dancing, and lots of smiles! Our little festival-goers dressed up in fabulous outfits, made festival headbands, and even built their own tents using poles, sticks, and pegs. It was a magical day filled with music, creativity, and imagination.
